Congrats, guys!
More specifically, it's the first Sunday night in February.
And, like any true sports fan, I am watching the Super Bowl. :D

i'm calmly going off to, you know, have a mental breakdown.
because eric kripke is an evil, evil bastard.
why can't those boys just be left alone for once? *huggles them*
and now? i'm off to curse that evil man who, in some ways, is a brilliant and all-powerful GOD in the supernatural world.

For those who don't know, today was the day of the conference championship games for the NFL. The Colts beat the Jets today, and I congratulate the Colts on an excellent and interesting season.
In the other conference, the Saints were playing the Vikings. Now, being a die-hard Packer fan I
Now, the Saints team has been such an inspiration since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2006. They've overcome so many hardships and really given their people hope in dark times. They have NEVER been to the Super Bowl. Never in the history of that team have they ever won the conference championship and gone to the mother of all games. So when they were on their winning streak earlier in the season, I was totally psyched for them, and subsequently disappointed when that undefeated streak was snapped.
So, can you see my dilemma?
I was cheering for both teams the entire game because I really, really wanted Favre to get another Super Bowl ring before he ACTUALLY retired but I also really, really wanted the Saints to win because they DESERVE it.
In the long run, at the end of the day in beautiful Miami, the place where millions of eyes from around the world will have their eyes glued on February 7, 2010, where two teams (the Colts and the Saints) who had gone undefeated for the same amount of time in the regular season (give or take a game or two) will meet for the final showdown of the 2009 season, I will be rooting for the Saints. Those guys have been an inspiration and showed true dedication to their teammates and the city they call home through hard times and they have finally reached the place all 32 teams in the NFL dream about every year.
So, New Orleans? My hat is off to you. Play hard, stay strong and most importantly? Good luck.

Now I'm about to go make myself something to eat because I'm starving and then I go in to work around 1:30. I have an interview for an actual job tomorrow morning and hopefully I get that so my parents stop bitching to me about not having a job and so I'll have a semi-steady paycheck. The job at the paper is okay, but I'm only called in when they need more people to help stuff the paper ads in the newspaper. Oh well...
Off to get food now... hope everyone had a great weekend!
Oh! Thanks to

Really? WTF, mother?

December 2, 2009
Well... much later... we're going to Wausau today. To check out the 2 year school there, see what options I have for Spring so I don't drive myself abso-fuckin-lutely insane with my parents. My baby is also getting a haircut. I'm kind of sad about that because he's fluffly right now and I think he looks cute when he's fluffy. Parents think he just looks like a giant ball of white fur, which he does, but it's not nearly long enough to make him look like a miniature sheep dog or anything. He's just... a little ball of white short fluff. Insanely cute. I'll try to get some before and after pictures up... sometimes it can be quite comical. And since we're going to Wausau, I'm going to attempt to try and convince my mother to drop me off at Barnes and Noble for a book... or a DVD set of my favorite TV show but she doesn't need to know that part :D Best be getting ready... we're supposed to leave around 9:30 and she just jumped in the shower now. It's 9:08. We'll see what happens.

Am sad that I have to wait until January 21 for Supernatural to come back on. *le sigh* It's epic sadness in my world. Leverage should also be returning around that time... but I want it to come faster. Although, at least one of my shows starts again in December! *g* Dog: The Bounty Hunter starts up again in about two weeks so yay!

Wow... it's been a long three weeks. Basically got kicked out of school because the guy in 'office of student success' is a dick. Office of student success, my ass. Apparently I was failing all three classes and there was no way I'd be able to raise any of my grades up to a passing grade by the end of semester. Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence.
Good god... that was a terrible call. Sorry, watching the Badger game at the same time I'm writing *grins sheepishly*
Halloween was pretty fun. I went out to Old Mill with my parents since my cousins were going to be there. I got to wear my costume and I got to use massive amounts of spray glitter, which was good fun. Although it didn't come out of my hair for three days... even with multiple showers :) Anywho... my crazy cousins dressed up as Elvis and Priscilla Presley. My older cousin was Elvis and the younger one... was wow. He had this dress on that reminded me of Minnie Mouse, a black wig, make--up (with eye liner and everything), fishnet stockings and high heels. I have a picture and I'd love to post it at some point but I have yet to figure out to get it off my phone and onto my computer.
Went to GB yesterday to check out the school there. I quite liked it, fairly small campus and all the education buildings are connected so when it's winter and the crazy weather is going on I don't have to wander about outside too much. Unfortunately, the dorms and food buildings are NOT connected... which means freezing in order to get food.
Am currently not feeling well, which sucks because I've been doing so good. Might have pink eye, which sucks even more. Ooh, also? Cut my leg with a chainsaw on Wednesday. Not the actual cutting part, but there's this metal plate by the end of the blade that's got these pointy things on it that you use to steady the saw on whatever it is you're cutting? Yeah, was jumping off the back of the tailgate with it and it hit my leg when I landed. Three nice cuts in my leg and a giant bruise there as well. It's lovely. Um, got to go to Kools last night (the local 'community center' as my dad calls it, it's a bar) and played pool with my sister and parents. 'Twas good fun.
Also, since I haven't been on here in a while, there is something I need to take care of before I leave this for today. November 12 was the birthday of two AWESOME people and though I don't converse with anyone on here enough to really have the right call them 'friend', they ARE awesome so

"This is Entertainment Weekly's Top 100 movies of the last 25 years list (up until 2008).
Bold the ones you have seen
Put an asterisk (*) after the movie title* if you really liked it.
Underline the ones you own
( movies this way! )
...though I'm surprised at some of these on this list - the ones that I have absolutely no desire to ever see, mainly 'cause they strike me as completely stupid.
But, oh well, I guess people like 'em. --Megan
Totally with you on that one, hun! I mean, really? SOUTH PARK? Come on, that's just a little ridiculous. Okay, it's really ridiculous. Although it is Entertainment Weekly so who knows what they were thinking when they came up with this one. Oh well...
Off to finish watching an AWESOME show that I just got addicted to.... LEVERAGE!

yeah, going to Yell Like Hell for homecoming? probably not the smartest idea. my throat hurts even more. 'twas fun, though, which is what counts. our game is tonight, and i was planning on going but since i'm sick

i don't feel good. at all. and i was doing so good at not getting sick, too. and then one of my suite-mates had strep last week. and i don't know what i have but my throat hurts and is sore and i keep getting sinus headaches and ugh..... ick. no me gusta. and erin isn't coming this weekend, so sad face :( she's got exams at mad-town next week so she's studying.
but i do get to go home next weekend. yay! as long as it doesn't turn out to be like last weekend, when i had a hardcore emotional breakdown (which for me consists of crying and isolating myself for a few hours) it should be okay. i'm going back to the high school, visit my teachers and just reminisce.
yeah, i must be getting sick because i'm freezing right now in my room, usually i'm dying from the heat. so, off to fine my big, comfy hoodie and then curl up on my bed with a movie or Supernatural... either one.

i also have a few stories for lord of the rings and pirates of the caribbean but those won't be posted until i do some major re-working on them. those were stories written when i first got into writing so they really kind of suck.
am also thinking of possibly writing an actual book. it was inspired when i came up with a new story idea for supernatural, where my main character is actually going to write a book about her life. i'm sure i'll have more for it once i get the fanfic going. so far i've gotten some good feedback on the part that i do have written. it's the ending of the book but it doesn't really give anything away, i've always been better at endings. i'll post it below, you can read it if you want.
( original story ending... )
and that's all i have for right now... might be back later.

well, in elementary school it was miss kaiser, my fifth grade teacher. she was awesome, we had pizza parties and holiday parties and since we were out in the trailer with one of the other fifth grade classes (it was temporary, they were remodeling the school), we had fun contests every so often. she taught us how to use checks by having us earn 'money' through little tasks we were assigned throughout the week and then when we had 'market days' we were able to buy passes that let us do certain things whenever we wanted to use them. there were passes that let you bring candy or soda into the classroom, you could sit at the teacher's desk for the day, teacher's assistant, free homework pass, free quiz pass, and my favorite was the jackie chan pass. jackie chan was our class hamster and you could have him sitting at your desk with you for the day. it was a lot of fun. after i 'graduated' and was heading on to middle school, she called me during the summer, because i was nervous about the transition to a new school.
in middle school it was mr. grubbs, hands down. mr. grubbs was my 6th grade language arts and reading teacher. he was a younger teacher, like miss kaiser, and he was just so energetic! we had this thing in 6th grade that because it was a new experience for us we would spend the last hour of the day on tuesdays and thursdays with our language arts teacher so i had him four hours on some days. he was such an amazing guy all around, not to mention some of us had crushes on him, lol. fridays he would always do a handstand the last 10 seconds of class, and we always tried to get him to go longer and longer to see how long he could hold one. it was great. and when i got sick and was in the hospital, he got all the kids in my class to make a 'get well soon' card and always pulled me aside at the end of the week to ask how i was doing. even before i had gotten real sick he noticed something wasn't quite right with me and always made sure to ask if i was okay. he was such a great teacher. and i know the school is huge and he sees hundreds upon hundreds of kids every year but i went back my freshman year of high school to visit (that's three years after i had last seen him) and he still recognized me. i changed a lot from 6th grade to freshman year.
my favorite teacher from high school...well i have two because i went to two different high schools. from PR it's miss linde, hands down. she was a younger teacher, again, so i think she still remembered what it was like to be in high school and be a freshman. she was my english teacher, which is one of my favorite subjects because i ADORE reading and writing. we had a poetry session, which didn't really turn out the way i liked because around the time we started it i found out we were moving, so most of it was pretty dark. but i loved the way she had us do book reports and the way she taught through the books we read, romeo and juliet especially. a few of the other times my english teachers did shakespeare they read a paragraph and then had us translate it into modern english. it was really slow and teadious. miss linde did kind of a word search, where she had the definitions and we had to fine the words, or she'd do crosswords the same way and then read through the passages.
from AHS, it's mr. blood. no contest whatsoever. blood was my homeroom teacher, which means i saw him every morning for three years in a row. he was another fun-loving, down to earth, just an all around awesome person. he was a bit odd, but i think that's what i liked most about him. he really loved getting to know his students and treated them as equals if they earned that from him. i felt very comfortable with him and i knew i could go to him for any reason and he'd try to help out if he could, or find a way to get me help. some people didn't like the way he taught but i thought it was so much fun. we'd start out on topic and then something would come up where he veered off-course for a little bit but then came back. i liked it because then i could associate whatever we were learning with whatever little tangent he had gone on about. he was also in charge of drama club, so i spent a hell of a lot more time with him than any of the other kids in the school. we still keep in touch now that i'm at school and i visit him whenever i'm in town. he takes an honest interest in what his students are doing and offers advice freely, letting you take it and do whatever you like with it. he's a real mentor for me, and i'll never be able to fully express how grateful i am for his enthusiasm through my years at AHS. he made an imprint on my life and i will forever be thankful to whatever powers that be that he so happened to have my section of my class for homeroom.

hmm... let's think about that for a second...
giving up privacy is so not a fair price to pay for being famous! it's not even close to fair, not to mention against the constitution! most celebrities are just doing what they love, acting and singing and it's unfortunate for them that people want to know the most intimate details about them. people who make their own tv shows give up that privacy right all on their own, but there are those who just want to do what they do and be left alone.
i recently heard on the radio about some paparazzi climbing over the wall of george clooney's house in italy and snapped some pictures of a 13 YEAR OLD GIRL CHANGING IN HER BEDROOM!! it's absurd that society has come to this that people will actually sneak into someone's yard and take disgusting pictures like that just to appease the american public. it's disgusting and i feel terrible for the stars that this happens to.
so yes, some parts of celebrities lives should be off limits to the public, we all have our secrets and we all want certain parts of our lives kept a secret. even though they are celebrities they're still human!! and no, giving up one's privacy is NOT a fair price to pay for being famous.
